Amitabh Bachchan has some of the most passionate fans in the country. People of almost all age groups are his ardent fans and the superstar greeted his fans gathered outside his house as he does every Sunday. However, the veteran actor was touched by one young fan, a little girl about whom he tweeted on social media.Taking to Twitter, Big B shared a few pictures of himself with his young fan. In the pictures, the girl can be seen walking into the gates of Jalsa and sweetly waving at the actor. Behind a throng of fans can be seen clamouring to take a good look at Amitabh. Overall, the ‘102 Not Out’ actor seemed really touched by this gesture as he captioned the click as, “T 2734 - This little one braved the Sunday crowds and came through the gates .. just for a wave .. ! so cute .. !”
Amitabh Bachchan’s health has been a cause of concern for his fans recently. Many of his fans became anxious when news broke out that the actor had been taken to a hospital in Mumbai on Friday evening. However, it seems like all worries were unfounded after all.Taking to Twitter, Big B reassured his followers that all is fine and there is nothing to worry about. The actor has written a long post on his blog and he tweeted a link to his explanation saying, “To all of them that express concern. I am in wellness you may learn I wrote a Blog verse last night in refrain, you may visit it here, from rumour abstain. It is in Hindi, a language I speak. Shall translate in English, but efforts are meek!” Looks like things are fine with Mr. Bachchan after all for he is still being his poetic self.
It came to light recently that Shah Rukh Khan has become the most followed Indian celebrity on Twitter and hence dethroning Amitabh Bachchan from that position. Big B had then threatened that he will quit Twitter, albeit in a joking manner. Many of his followers took his words seriously and ended up panicking. However, it seems like it was all in jest from the veteran actor’s part after all.The '102 Not Out' actor took to Twitter once again with a lighthearted tweet where he called his followers and social media “a delight”. This is what he wrote on the microblogging platform, “social media - you are a delight !! Following Followers & Tweets - you are a delight .. who to follow, you are a delight .. India Trends - you are delight .. Each human in World a delight .. coz' we are all TWITTERED.”Well, it certainly looks like the megastar still knows to appreciate the lighter side of life.
Amitabh Bachchan greeting his fans outside his residence every Sunday has become sort of tradition for the megastar and his well-wishers.In what has now been popularly called as ‘Sunday darshan’, Big B greets and addresses a huge crowd that usually gather outside his humble abode in order to get a glimpse of the actor. Keeping up with the tradition, Mr Bachchan shared a recent picture of the same on his Instagram account.Dressed in a white kurta and blue and green scarf, SR Bachchan greets his sea of fans with a formal Namaste. He captioned the image as, "Sunday with the well wishers .."On the work front, he was last seen in Ram Gopal Varma’s political drama 'Sarkar 3'.
Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has announced that he would leave an equal share of his assets to his daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda and son Abhishek Bachchan, in the interest of ‘gender equality’. The actor, who is also a United Nations ambassador for the 'Girl Child’, has often campaigned for the cause on both public and private platforms.In a Twitter post on Wednesday morning, Amitabh can be seen holding a placard which reads, "When I die, the assets I shall leave behind shall be shared equally between my daughter and my son. #GenderEquality #WeAreEqual."Amitabh Bachchan was ranked 18th in the list of highest-paid actors in the world last year, in a survey conducted by a magazine, with earnings of over $20 million. This move of publically advocating gender equality is being looked upon as the actor’s initiative to inspire his large fan following in the country to do the same.
The legendary actor, Amitabh Bachchan completed 48 years in Bollywood on February 15. The ace actor tweeted about this landmark achievement and shared that he officially joined the industry and signed his first film 'Saat Hindustani' on February 15, 1969.
