Indian cinema produces a large number of movies every year but still just because of numerous reasons some movies not get released. Let just bring out some of the Bollywood movies that created too much hype in the air before release but never-ever get a release. Here are some movies from B-TOWN:
Tiger (1980)
A film about the dispute between two brothers spilled off-screen into a fight between the producers and stars. The film was named after the Big B character in Rakesh Kumar's hit Khoon Pasina.
Khuda Gawah (1978)
Big B as a cowboy? Anything was possible in the 1970s. The film didn't get beyond a few days but the producer re-used the title in a 1992 film, with Amitabh yet again in the lead role.
Time Machine (1992)
A classic sci-fiction starring Aamir Khan, Raveena Tandon and Naseeruddin Shah. Was three-fourths completed when director Shekhar Kapur planned to go on the route of Hollywood.
Dus (1996)
Indian secret agents Sanjay Dutt and Salman Khan infiltrate Pakistan to prevent a fourth Indo-Pak war. It was meant to be one of the Mukul Anand's epic, lavishly movie going to be shoot in Utah. His sudden death cancels all the post-shooting.
Let's Catch Veerappan (2004)
A black comedy of three villagers where they plan to murder the bandit but unfortunately "Veerappan” was caught and killed on the first day of shooting, so there wasn't much point in doing the film.
Not only this, there are lots of movies which never get released. Stay connected to LOPSCOOP for more B-Town updates & do subscribe us on UC news.
